Zumba Kids Jr.

Perfect for younger Zumba® fans! Kids 4-6 years old can jam out to their favorite music with all their friends! 

 

Zumba® Kids, Jr classes are super fun dance parties with fun, kid-friendly routines. 

Children will learn to view fitness as a fun part of everyday life, and develop healthy routines. They'll learn leadership, respect, team work, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, balance, and cultural awareness.

This is a 12 Week Class that meets on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Class meets: March 2, 9, 16, 23, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25.

Zumba Kids

Great for our younger Zumba® fans! (Kids 7-11 years old) Featuring kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba® choreography. With easy to learn steps, and fun games and activities, children will learn to view fitness as a fun part of everyday life, and develop healthy routines. They'll learn leadership, respect, team work, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, balance, and cultural awareness.

This is a 12 Week Class that meets on Tuesdays from 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm

Class meets: March 2, 9, 16, 23, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25.

 

Ballet/Tap

Ages 4-7

This class is an introduction to ballet and tap. Students will learn dance technique and terminology. 

This is a 12 week class that meets on Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. 

Class meets: March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, 27.

Ballet/Tap

Ages 8-12

Great for developing and strengthening hand-eye coordination and motor skills to each student in a fun, energetic and relaxed atmosphere. 30 minutes spent on ballet, and 30 minutes spent on tap each week. 

This is a 12 week class that meets on Thursday evenings from 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm. 

Class meets: March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, 27.

About the Instructor

Jennifer Johnston

Jennifer began her love of tap at age 4, and continued studying tap, ballet, jazz, modern, and musical theatre through college.  She has performed, competed, and choreographed routines for studios and theatres throughout Florida and Georgia.  She was a member of the Dance Theatre of Santa Fe in Gainesville, Florida and performed at the University of Florida's Gator Growl - the world's largest student pep rally.  Locally, she has performed at the Alhambra Theatre & Dining in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, White Christmas, and Crazy For You.  Other credits include La Cage Aux Folles, Beehive!, Bloody, Bloody, Andrew Jackson, Memphis, and A Streetcar Named Desire.  She is a licensed Zumba kids instructor.
