Ms. Kimberly Cintron

Kimberly’s passion for art and education is a lifetime achievement. From adolescence, imagination was unending and creativity was a necessity for life. That creativity helped lead to many successes in all other subject areas as she graduated Salutatorian of Lindenwold High School class of 2008 in New Jersey, where she was born and raised. She served her high school years volunteering as a tutor to underclassmen for math and science as she was a member of the National Honor Society. Her career and life has been dedicated to inspiring children to live life honorably, love oneself and what one does, and to never stop learning. She served as a senior mentor to incoming freshmen in her own high school, a tutor for expository writing as well as an art teachers assistant for the Rutgers Future Scholars Program at Rutgers University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing in 2013. Following graduation from Rutgers University, she became Marketing Coordinator at Newark School of the Arts. With her creative marketing position at a non-profit arts school, she also attained a teaching position with the opportunity to teach art classes at Speedway Academy in Newark, NJ. While teaching art enrichment classes for K-8th grade, she saw the dire need for more creative outlets in the educational system. Since then, she has been dedicated to using creative strategies to improve the quality of children’s lives and better the community through several inspiring and educational artistic projects including group murals, and volunteering to artistically revamp daycares, schools and church spaces.
